The GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) evaluation program organized annually by China WTO Tribune, a magazine managed by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, with the goal of establishing CSR pioneering companies in China. Using the analogy of honeybees which symbolize the mode of sustainable development in China, the GoldenBee CSR China Honor Roll presents the honor of “GoldenBee enterprises” to those companies which have leading Chinese CSR development.
- Recognition of Sompo Japan China
Sompo Japan China was the only insurance company selected among the 46 “GoldenBee companies” ultimately nominated out of a pool of more than 300 Chinese companies. Sompo Japan China was recognized for its exemplary performance in strengthening compliance awareness and managing client information, among other achievements. The company is also noted in the compilation of case studies, the “2010 GoldenBee Responsible Competitiveness Best Practices.”
